SPARS & RIGGING:
The rig configuration is central to the principles of the central winch system. Configured as a fractional sloop rig the self tacking jib system minimises the number of lines in the cockpit. The configuration still delivers a spritely performance from a sail plan that can be controlled from the cockpit easily by the solo sailer or short handed crew.
Deck stepped, twin spreader, 7/8ths fractional sloop rig.
Mast and spars in silver anodised alloy, manufactured by Z-Spars.
Standing rigging of stainless steel wire with roll swage terminations and chromed bronze rigging screws.

THE CENTRAL WINCH SYSTEM (CWS)
Dehler have always been innovators with their yachts and the central winch system is a good demonstration of the company’s ability to think outside the box. The concept was introduced to simplify sailing for those owners wanting to use their boat single handed or with a short handed crew.
Dehler believed the short handed crew should be able to get as much enjoyment from their boat as a yacht sailed with a full compliment. The concept focuses around a centrally mounted single electric winch to which all halyards, reefing lines and sheets are lead aft.
Banks for rope clutches port and starboard allow full control of the lines. The system combined with the selftacking jib system allow the boat to be easily sailed without the need to leave the cockpit.
ON DECK:
The Dehler modern take on boat building results in a boat where the requirement for cosmetic maintenance externally is very limited. With no hardwood visible.
Stainless steel pulpit and pushpit rails.
Toerail mounted stainless steel stanchions supporting guardwires running the length of the deck
Double roller stemhead fitting.
Moulded toerail outboard
Forward, midships and aft mooring cleats.
Offset anchor windlass, self stowing chain to self draining anchor locker.
Harken self-tacking staysail track mounted on stainless steel frame forward of mast.
Genoa car tracks for genoa or storm jib set inside shrouds in way of mast.
Halyards and control lines lead aft to CWS through covered ducts under deck.
Nylon grabrails on outboard edges of coachroof.
Moulded cockpit coamings.
Bench seating in cockpit port and starboard with shaped helm seat athwart-ships aft.
Central winch system mounted directly forward of pedestal with rope clutches outboard port and starboard.
