The Spirit 65 Chloe Giselle is a sail-away cruising and racing yacht now on the brokerage market. She presents a fantastic opportunity to own a Spirit Yachts’ designed and built yacht with proven cruising and racing experience.
From the exterior, Chloe Giselle has all the hallmarks of Spirit’s design DNA; long overhangs, low freeboard, flush decks, and a sleek low-profile coachroof with integrated fan light windows.
Since Chloe Giselle launched nine years ago, her owners have cruised and raced in the UK, Europe, and the Caribbean. Competitive on the Spirit of Tradition racing circuit, Chloe Giselle has a number of regatta and race trophies to her name.
Chloe Giselle is currently in the Caribbean for winter cruising until May 2024, but she is available for viewings by prior appointment.
Descending the companionway steps reveals Chloe Giselle’s spacious open plan galley, dining, and socialising area. The space is warm with the natural timbers on show and flooded with natural light from the fan light windows in the coachroof.
The galley is well equipped for entertaining, ocean crossings, and liveaboard cruising with a four-burner Eno gas cooker, 140 litre fridge, and a 70 litre freezer.
Accommodation comprises a forward ensuite master cabin with plenty of storage and two aft double guest cabins. The guest cabins share a separate heads and shower on the starboard side.
Forward of the heads on the starboard side is a chart table with Zeus chart plotter and Simrad VHF.
The interior has air conditioning and heating throughout.
Built to RCD Classification A, Chloe Giselle is powered by a Steyr 109HP Turbo Diesel and a Fischer Panda 15000i generator. She has a fin and bulb keel and a composite spade rudder, a four bladed folding Maxprop, and a 6kw bow thruster.
On deck, Chloe Giselle’s classic styling is complemented by a modern deck layout and sail wardrobe. Sailing performance is delivered with carbon spars, EC6 carbon standing rigging, and an electric jib furler.
Electric and manual Lewmar winches comprise: mast 2 x 60ST manual winches, 2 x 68ST electric 3 speed. Cockpit 2 x 77ST electric 2 speed headsail winches, 2 x 77ST electric 3 speed spinnaker sheet winches, 2 x 68ST 3 speed mainsheet winches.
Chloe Giselle has an extensive sail wardrobe, which includes cruising main and headsail, racing main and headsail, A2 masthead running asymmetric spinnaker, A4 fractional reaching asymmetric spinnaker, and a masthead reacher headsail mounted on to a composite luff cable with furling drum.
