Construction

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull is hand laid GRP/painted in Awlgrip Royal Blue with double white cove stripe. New paint refit 2023.
• The topsides paint, cabintop paint, and cabinet varnish is all new 2023.
• The teak decks were all replaced with solid teak in 2023, glued down.

Keel & Rudder:

• Modified keel, skeg mounted rudder.

Engine & Gearboxes:

Navigation Station:

• This navigation station is a textbook classic of what a true offshore nav. station should be; comprised of redundant systems, ship-to-ship communications, global communications, repeaters for all navigation electronics, secondary electrical panels and so much more.
• The nav. station itself is perfectly positioned on the port side amidships in the lower centre of gravity; offers good comfort in a nasty seaway.

• Muir 24VDC electric windlass with gypsy and wildcat with deck foot controls and cockpit chain counter and controls. The windlass was rebuilt 2023.
• Stainless fairleads and cleats.
• Stainless capped teak rub rail.
• All new dock lines (6 x) (2023).
• The primary anchor was replaced in 2022 with a 120# stainless steel mantus.

Covers, Canvas & Cushions:

• Large sundeck with fitted cushions.
• The frame for the dodger and bimini was rebuilt using heavy (2") welded stainless in 2017.
• The top of the dodger and bimini are hard/cored fiberglass with built in lighting (2017).
• The top of the bimini has a window to view the sail from the helm.
• The tops of the bimini and dodger are treated with non-skid for safety.
• A teak rub rail was added on the top of the bimini in 2023.
• The sides of the dodger are polycarbonate with roll down window.
• There is a connector between the dodger/bimini with fold down window.
• There are roll-down side curtains for the cockpit enclosure. 
• At the same time (2017), the boat was fitted with removable "shades" for the dodger, the sides of the cockpit, the saloon side windows, and the forward port lights.
• The exterior cushions were replaced with a very nice fabric with new foam in 2022.

Tender & Outboard:

• Heavy-duty 316 SS custom davit and electronics arch.
• Custom A/B 12' RIB (double layer bottom, extra heavy CSM fabric) (2017).
• 25hp Yanmar EFI engine - seals/plugs/oil/bottom end lube serviced 2023.
• 20' of 3/8" stainless chain with lock (2022).
• Dual dinghy anchors.
• Added fuel/water separator (2023).
• The forward chocks have been upgraded from aluminium to solid stainless. 2 x New stainless chocks fitted aft in February 2024.
• The radar/dinghy arch was rebuilt/strengthened in 2017 with solar added.
• Two kayak or SUP board holders were added (under the solar panels in the "wings").

Safety Equipment

• 8-man Viking RescYou life raft in deck canister mounted on stern pulpit.
• The 8 man Viking was recertified with most components renewed in 9/2022.
• 5 x Harness-type I life jackets.
• Safety gear: life sling, lifejackets for crew and owner's guest, safety harnesses, jack lines, medical kit, etc.
• There is a life sling, an inflatable jon-buoy and throwable life ring.

Fire-Fighting Equipment:
