Build by renowned Windy in Sweden with a pedigree for high quality and sporting performance on the water, she is a proven sports motor cruiser even within the Windy stable with only c.230 original engine hours used since launched and built to a high specification in 2014 and with a host of additional and recent upgrades. She has been fully serviced including engines/drives/generator in the past month and has been carefully looked after throughout her life. The Windy 48 Triton raises the bar for high performance, fuel efficient, all-weather family cruising, combining exceptional handling and sea-keeping with luxurious and roomy accommodation. ACCOMMODATION

Hydraulic bathing platform with teak finish leading via port and starboard gates to aft cockpit. There are lockers in under the steps to the cockpit with a shower to starboard and the hydraulic passerelle to Port. The steps lead to the teak laid cockpit with seating aft under a bimini. The wide teak laid side decks are accessed either side of the cockpit and provide access to a sunbed and anchor locker forward. The upper saloon and helm position are accessed via large stainless steel sliding doors. In the spacious upper saloon is a large U-shaped sofa aft with a folding wood table, opposite are storage lockers with the AC/DC switch panel, DC isolation switches and safety equipment. There is a griddle and sink, icemaker and fridge for deck living. At the forward end of the upper saloon, under a large retracting roof, are the helm and co-helm positions with a full set of navigation, engine controls and displays. The control and instrument systems just look right and are intuitively laid out, with a electrically operated platform under the seats that comes out to give a high helm position when the roof is open.

The engine room is accessed from the aft end of the upper saloon via a hatch. The engine room is well laid out and all around access is available to the engines, generator, air condition and systems.

Steps down from the upper saloon lead to the central sitting room and galley, all beautifully furnished and comfortable. The master suite and ensuite heads are accessed from the forward end of the saloon with the two guest suites aft, there is a guest/day heads aft.

Anmerkung des Eigentümers

I have owned a number of boats in the past both sail and power and spent 6 months researching prior to buying this particular Windy 48, probably as my criteria list was quite long;

I wanted a boat that had an excellent pedigree and reputation for build quality and holding its value and that looked sharp, performed well in terms of ability to cut through the Solent chop but also had a decent turn of speed and still be economical.

I wanted her to have an almost new feel and been properly looked after from new with critically very low engine usage. Finally, I wanted to have 3 genuine double bedrooms for friends and family and to have some creature comforts like on board BBQ/TVs etc, plus a fully submersible bathing platform for sporty activities like launching dinghies/ windsurfers/ e-foils for friends etc.

Nauti Buoy had all of these, but I added some extra practical, but great fun bits of kit that finished her off and made my life so easy to use her totally alone like the Dockmate, as well as the Nav screens and a top end music system throughout. Her street cred and practicality has been applauded by bystanders many times whilst mooring totally alone in a high wind!

Sadly, with a new house on the water on the Isle of Wight, I don\'t really need such a large boat with 3 cabins and will be very sorry indeed to hand her over to her new owner.
