This Maxi 1000 is a good example of this highly respected Swedish Cruiser / Racer that is in our opinion, offers great value. The Maxi 1000 is a fantastic design that benefits form Scandinavian build quality. This very solid, Swedish built cruiser / racer is able to achieve a good turn of speed, whilst also being capable of longer distance cruising as well. The great thing about this yacht is that despite being a fast boat, her comfort & accommodation below is not compromised. With 6 berths, seating for the whole Crew, forward facing Nav station, galley & separate heads this Maxi 1000 is a very comfortable boat to spend time onboard. She comes with a relatively new plotter, & multi function displays but her big advantage is having the larger 28 HP Volvo Engine. This is further complimented by the lighter, American Cherry woodwork below, giving her cabin a much brighter and airy feel than on some other 1000’s.

With her excellent design by Pelle Pettersen, this Maxi 1000 is great for fun sailing around coastal waters whilst still being very capable of cruising further afield or racing. She has plenty of onboard space for safe & fun cruising with family & friends, but is equally manageable short handed. This is a very solid, well constructed boat that oozes the quality & craftsmanship that is expected of this Swedish Marque. She is currently lying Southampton & viewing is highly recommended.
