Jarrow Lily is a classically designed, modern motor-sailor. The large & bright pilot house, well equipped galley and spacious accommodation makes her the perfect choice as a long distance cruiser. The electric Lewmar 40 power winch in the rear cockpit and the self tacking sails make her very easy to handle for a couple. She performs well with just engine and great with both engine and sail. Under sail, the addition of the code zero, on a furler for easy use, enables this heavy long-keel cruiser to sail in light winds.
Equipped for off-grid and extended time or live aboard, a generator, an inverter and solar panels means she is self sufficient when far away from shore power adequately powering both refrigerators and a Dometic 40 L fridge/ freezer. The genesis of the Island Packet SP Cruiser came about when existing customers required ease of use when approaching their senior years, giving them both the thrill of sailing but additionally the comfort of motoring when needed but don't think this boat is just for seniors!
Bob Johnson, the Island Packet designer and owner realised a "halfway house" motor-sailor might be the answer. The SP Cruiser is his evolution of the motor-sailor genre and Bob specifically intended the boat to be easy to handle for mature, retired couples or a busy family.

We have Owned Jarrow Lily for 10 Years. Over that time we have had many extended cruises of about 4-5 months each summer. We particularly enjoy exploring out of the way places. Her shallow draft makes this possible. She is a very safe, comfortable boat with easy motion and she is particularly good on the hook. She has massive storage and has a range of nearly 1000nm under engine.
