This 1987 Gulfstar Hirsch 45 Gallivant is the last of the Hirsch models ever built. Extensively cruised through the Bahamas, Caribbean, Florida, and East Coast of the USA and never chartered. The current owner took possession in 2021 and has a clean survey from when he purchased we are happy to share. He went ahead with a refit in 2022 to get it ready for a cruising livaboard lifestyle. Recent passage from the West coast of Florida of 1400 miles to the BVI where he has been enjoying the fruits of his labor cruising the BVI in comfort and style.

Gulfstars are performance sailboats originally designed for the charter trade, with two cabins, each with a door that can be closed for privacy as well as a bathroom (head) for each cabin, the forward head also accessible from the salon. The starboard saloon settee extends to make for a comfortable earth while under way and the salon table has folding leaf's to allow for comfortable dining for 6+. Large cockpit to enjoy sundowners and a full enclosure to keep you out of the element, even underway. Well-designed galley with recently replaced Corian countertops, a massive refrigerator & 2 extra 12V fridge/freezers to ensure you have provisions for long passages or enough cold beers! The original storage along with the well-built teak additional storage allows liveaboards more than enough space for everything, more than enough for long cruise provisioning, tools and spares and there’s additional dry storage under every floorboard.
