1972 ketch rigged Neptunian 33 for sale in Kent
The Alan Buchanan designed Neptunian 33 is a traditionally styled, sea kindly and comfortable cruising yacht that will look after you at sea. It is a motorsailer that really sails well with a centre cockpit that is deep, safe and protects you from the elements.
This yacht has been well maintained and has been owned by the current owner for the past 24 years and is reluctantly being sold. A berth in Dover Marina, Kent is also available
Accommodation :
This Neptunian 33 offers up to four berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main saloon. In the fore cabin a V berth with inset for two persons with stowage underneath The cabin has an opening hatch to foredeck.
It has a full width heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin with pressurised hot and cold water and hanging locker.
In the saloon is a dinette to port which could be made to convert to double berth if required with the galley opposite. There is a built in stereo radio and also a portable stereo radio and CD player.
The galley opposite has a Neptune 2000 two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. It has a stainless steel sink and drainer with pressurised hot and cold water.12v fridge The hot and cold pressurised water system. is heated by the engine and 240v immersion heater. The freshwater system has a capacity of 450 litres
Steps lead up to cockpit. Wheelhouse shelter with canvas canopy and glass screen. Steps down to aft cabin with two single berths with stowage under. Separate heads compartment which has now been converted into a store room. The marine toilet has been removed, but is still available as the cupboard is used to house an additional fridge.

History & Construction:
Built in 1972 by Tyler Boat Company Tonbridge, to a design by Alan Buchanan and finished by Shuttlewood (Paglesham). White GRP hull with cove line. Bulwarks with rubber toe rail. White GRP superstructure with moulded and painted non-slip to deck. Centre self-draining cockpit. Long keel with encapsulated ballast. Keel hung rudder. Wheel steering. Last antifouled in September 2022. Anodes last changed April 2018. Remedial Osmosis Treatment by Dover Yacht Company in 2005
