Relative informazioni Jeanneau 64

English

There are a number of reasons why Hindsight is a special boat. Not only is she probably the highest spec'd Jeanneau 64 ever to come to market but, under her maiden name of 'Polar Bear' (until Oct '20), she was the prized possession of none other than Andrew Winch - yacht designing's very own royalty and the Jeanneau 64's co-designer. As if this were not enough, her current owner has lavished care, attention and not a little love in treating this lady in the manner to which she has been accustomed.

With her hull in Dolphin Blue set off to perfection by her red and grey boot stripes, white matching mast and furling boom, all over teak decking ('eyebrow to eyebrow') and navy cockpit cushions, shoal keeled Hindsight is guaranteed to turn heads wherever she goes. The beauty, though, is not just for others to behold - because down below is a true wonder of space ergonomics and light: ten berths in five cabins (including the twin crew forepeak) is remarkable enough, but when you consider that four of those cabins have en-suites, you can see why this boat is as practical as she is stunning.

Finally we come to the wheels: most of us would be happy to accept the functional white ones that come standard - but not Andrew. "Why accept mere functionality when beautiful design is there for the taking?", he asked - so he added custom varnished teak helms with carbon trim and spokes, (which the second owner had embellished in 2021). As if this were not enough to get you on the first flight to Sant Martin (where she is now berthed), how about the fact that she now has a removable metal bimini with solar panels and that she can be yours for just €995k, when she listed for c€1.7m less than seven years ago?

If you agree with me that Hindsight is TOTALLY UNIQUE, please call DEAN OVERTON on +44 7787 50 60 90 or email deanoverton@ancasta.com to arrange a live WhatsApp viewing or, better still, a physical viewing in beautiful Saint Martin, and make a little holiday out of it? There are loads of easy flights from both Europe and the US.

Broker comments

I've known Hindsight ever since I took instructions from her original owner, Andrew Winch, to list her in 2020 - when she was then known as 'Polar Bear'. So it was with great interest that I followed her progress, after I sold her in that year to the next owner, firstly to the Caribbean, then all the way up the Eastern Seaboard of the US last Summer, finally to return to the Caribbean - when she was sold to another American last Summer ('22).

When buying a used boat it is important - but normally very difficult - to establish her full history. Not so with Hindsight / Polar Bear, as I have known her for 3 full years and can personally vouch for all her owners and the care that has been lavished on her. In terms of protecting her reputation and your investment, you could not wish for a more sound provenance.

If you wish to talk to me about her,in more detail call me: Dean Overton on +44 7787 50 60 90 or email deanoverton@ancasta.com any time.
