Le YYachts Y8, plus précisément le modèle « Y8 DT », est un voilier sophistiqué de 80 pieds disponible à la vente en Allemagne, conçu pour allier luxe et performance. La conception du Y8 DT exclut les pataras fixes, permettant l'utilisation d'une grand-voile à « épaisse » pour une puissance accrue, particulièrement avantageuse par vent méditerranéen léger. Cette variante, avec sa coque tout carbone, offre une poupe plus large et un mât reculé pour une vitesse supérieure, inspirée des IMOCA de nouvelle génération. L'intérieur et la construction du yacht bénéficient des contributions des célèbres studios ISS Design et Surge Projects, garantissant élégance et praticité, avec des aménagements modulaires adaptables aux préférences du propriétaire, incluant jusqu'à cinq cabines invités.
Y8 YT + Y8 DT
Christened “Y8 DT”, this 80-foot yacht uses the Y8 YT hull and offers new options such as a different tender garage and more minimalistic design. With its well-protected cockpit, the new Y DT is a yacht for comfortable transatlantic passages yet is equally suited for owners yearning to race.
Like the Y7, it has no fixed backstays, thus enabling a “fat head” main, which provides more power in light Mediterranean airs.
In 2022 we launched an enhanced new version of this design, developed for an owner seeking to cruise and race in peerless elegance and luxury. In contrast to the previous Y8, the new model has a wider stern, so that in combination with the mast set further back, it can deliver genuine high-speed performance.

The latest Y8 YT is a perfect blend of cruising and racing yacht. YYachts collaborated with Surge Projects to develop a fast yet safe 80-foot all-carbon luxury yacht that is suitable for both family holidays and competitive racing. With its stunning design - and high-tech carbon hull that can be painted in any colour you wish - the Y8 YT has real race-winning potential, can lead the field at regattas in the Mediterranean or Caribbean, but is still very roomy below decks.
Inspired by the next-generation IMOCA racers, the Y8 YT was designed with a wider stern and thus more volume. Combined with different technical installati- ons, this opened up completely new possibilities for the interior design. The interior was developed by the YYachts Design Team, while responsibility for cons- truction lies with the ISS Design and Surge Projects studio, the latter a winner of the World Superyacht Design Awards.
With its modular construction, the layout can be adapted to the owner‘s wishes. The master suite, for example, can be installed in either the stern or the bow. The number of guest cabins is also variable - up to five are possible.
