     "The Sabre 42 is a masterful blend of superb handling and luxurious cruising amenities. Sailing World Magazine recognized her quality finish below, excellent deck and cockpit layout, and superb handling characteristics among her many attributes. She received top rankings for her size range in their "Boat of the Year" awards" ~ Sabre Yachts      Jubilee is fully equipped for offshore racing and cruising, is well maintained, regularly upgraded and is a fantastic example of this well-respected Sabre model. With many recent upgrades including Awlgripped topsides, electronics, refrigeration and much more, Jubilee presents like a much newer boat.  Her current owner was an ABYC Master Technician and NMEA advanced electronics installer which should add confidence that not only has this boat been maintained, but she has been well maintained under the trained eye of a marine industry professional.

Hull and Deck

     Balsa cored Flag Blue Awlgripped fiberglass hull with a double white boot stripe and gold cove stripe. The bottom is finished with red ablative antifouling.

     Partially cored fiberglass decks with molded-in non-skid. The decks are two-tone with grey non-skid on white. Teak toe and grab rails finished with several coats of varnish. Double stainless-steel bow and stern rails and double lifelines on stainless steel stanchions with gates port and starboard.

     The Sabre 42 offers one of the larger cockpits of the Sabre line of sailing yachts. The cockpit will handle a large sailing party and is a modern "T" shape almost 9’ in length. It has a large sail locker to starboard, a shallow locker to port, and a large lazarette. The cockpit is also surrounded by a well-maintained teak trim. Wide side decks provide ease of access fore and aft.

Accommodations

     Accommodations for up to 7 in an exquisitely crafted full oiled teak interior with a varnished teak and holly sole. The Sabre 42 is well noted for its abundance of natural light and ventilation with 4 large, fixed port, ten opening ports, and 8 hatches and 4 dorade vents. Artificial light is equally generous with new swivel style reading lamps at all berth/settees as well as a number of overhead lamps in workspaces.

    Forward of the Navigation Station, is the spacious Main Salon featuring an L settee to port and straight settee to starboard. There is also storage behind the seat backs and in lockers and shelves above the seat backs. The port settee pulls out to make a double berth (this has been disabled but can be refit as seller has all the parts). Dining is from a large teak table that will comfortably handle 6-8 and stores against the forward bulkhead when not in use.

       All the way forward is the Forward Stateroom featuring a V-berth with filler, below which there is storage in drawers and drop face lockers. Further forward there is some bin type storage below the berth. Above the berth the hull is lined with Cyprus battens and there are full length storage shelves. Aft of the starboard V is a bureau with drawers and a hanging locker.

     Moving aft and to port is the Private Forward Head with manual toilet plumbed via a Y-valve to the holding tank, vanity with stainless sink hot/cold pressure water and storage. There is an ensuite shower arrangement which drains to a sump.

     Continuing back through the Salon to port is the U-shaped Galley featuring expansive white Formica counter tops, double basin stainless steel sink with pressure hot/cold freshwater, filtered fresh and manual freshwater pumps. There is a large "icebox" fitted with fridge/freezer with 12 volt compressor and keel cooler. Cooking is done from the 3-burner gimballed propane stove with oven and a microwave oven powered off the 1500-watt inverter.
