Gaspe is probably one of the best examples of the 9.5, recently professionally refitted by Jeremy Rogers Lymington, exceeding the original manufacturers specification and ready to sail.
The Tofinou 9.5 is a modern twist on a classic daysailer/club racer, designed by Phillippe Joubert and built in France, attention to detail is evident throughout. Not uncommon on the race course, these boats will offer you easy solo sailing or a spacious and safe centrally controlled double cockpit for the crew. Easily trailerable, she has a fully serviced long-distance trailer and is currently dry sailed from the trailer in Cowes Yacht Haven.
Tofinou 9.5 ‘Gaspe’ is available now to view in Cowes Yacht Haven. Please contact Key Yachting for more information and to book a viewing.
OWNER’S COMMENTSPurchased in 2024 having been little used since her launching in 2008 and always kept in dry storage, we spent the winter 2024/5 refitting the boat, with no expense spared, fully winterised and stored in CYH heated events centre - new Dyform rigging and full set of new sail and overall covers from Sanders Sails (Spring’25). Having previously renovated a Tofinou 7 to the same standard, we traded up to the 9.5m with the intention of cherishing her for the long-term. However, in February ‘25 we purchased a new house with a location that does not make it viable to use the boat as intended.
