The Tofinou 9.7, a luxury and modern dayboat, was born from the desire of the Latitude 46 Shipyard team to take advantage of the classic heritage and characteristic quality of the shipyard by bringing innovation to it technology and design. This is why we have worked hand in hand with the world of industrial design and automobiles to perpetuate the “family style” of the Tofinou brand, which is still so popular. Its family resemblance remains unchanged, but its lines have been modernized to make it more aggressive.
From a technical point of view we sought a more powerful, wider hull, but still transportable, to experience more intense sensations downwind. With this new hull we were able to completely rethink the deck plan and the appendages to improve life on board and ergonomics when maneuvering
This modern luxury dayboat is the latest addition to the Tofinou range. With this new model, the Latitude 46 Shipyard has developed a “neoclassical” style thanks to the work of architect Michele Molino and the shipyard’s design office. The deck plan, whose style is inspired by Peugeot Design, is adaptable according to a solo or crewed sailing program. The Tofinou 9.7 accommodates an ergonomic and safe cockpit extended by a rear bathing deck..
The fundamentals of the Tofinou are preserved with the recognizable varnished mahogany coamings, signature of the shipyard. This model will be an example of construction site know-how in working with stainless steel, chrome and a carbon delphinière.
In order to adapt to all bodies of water, this dayboat offers three different keel systems: a fixed keel, a pivoting keel and a lifting keel associated with a single-rudder or two-rudder steering system, it is equipped with a 15 HP inboard engine accessed from the interior cabin or an optional electric motor.
