About this Rustler 37

Built to a high specification for an experienced owner, she has been used for summer cruising in the EU.

The Rustler 37\' is designed for all types of sailing, whether it is enjoying the local scenery or cruising around the world. The Rustler\'s build quality is as good as it gets, the 37\' is a well known and a favourite with discerning owners.

UK VAT paid or sold tax paid - EU compliant as she was lying in the EU on the 31st December 2020.

There are a great number of upgrades to the standard specification including Raymarine autopilot EV400, Challenge Marblehead sails, additional Yankee for downwind sailing, two whisker poles, cruising chute on furler, coach roof mounted mainsheet system with traveller and winches, Uprated Balmar 150Ah DC alternator, Gori 18\" folding propeller, Lithium batteries, solar arch and panels, hydrovane, 50 meter anchor chain with 20Kg Manson anchor, detachable bowsprit, Jordan drogue, Four man ocean liferaft, inflatable dinghy with outboard, bathing ladder and 60 litre holding tank, freshwater footpump and filter in galley, plus others.

PROPULSION

A single Nanni Diesel N4.38 1.5 litre in line four cylinder engine is fitted. Max power 28kW (38hp) at 3000rpm.

Low engine hours.

The engine is situated centrally in the saloon and easily accessed.

An A4 Nanni Diesel engine panel is fitted next to the helm position which has rev counter, oil pressure and water temp warning lights and alarm and an engine tacho.

A PSS Shaft Seal was fitted in place of a stuffing box

Gori 18” folding propeller with economy mode when motoring in calm conditions.

ELECTRICAL

DC Electrical System

The standard batteries were upgraded to 3 x 100Ah lithium for the service bank & 1 x 50Ah AGM for the engine starter

150A Balmar Alternator with wide belt upgraded from standard 100A alternator to enable fast charging.

Additional control of windlass at helm

2 x175 Watt Victron Solar panels with Victron MPPT controller.

Mastervolt Chargemaster 12/50 Battery Charger.

Kisae Power Inverter 12/230v as used by the emergency services.

AC Electrical System

Mains 230V AC is distributed throughout the yacht from a direct shore power connection via 1 x 16A socket.

Mains 230V Vimar sockets are provided throughout the boat.

A separate 230V circuit is provided to run the calorifier through the inverter to enable AC or DC charging.

Charging of the service and engine battery banks is via the Solar Panels, the Balmar 150A alternator or by the Mastervolt Chargemaster 12/50 battery charger from shore power.

Control of the electrics is via a central panel which incorporates circuit breakers.

Interior lighting is provided by LED flush lights throughout. Reading lights to saloon and forward cabin. Red/white lights to heads, red courtesy lights to chart area, galley and companionway steps. Additional switchable white lights to chart table.

Port and starboard bow lights, one tri-colour masthead navigation light combined with an all-round white light, one stern light, one steaming light and one deck light. Navigation lights are all LED with the exception of the steaming and deck lights.

Lewmar Electric Windlass mounted on deck can be controlled on deck at bow or at helm.

ACCOMMODATION

Curtains are fitted at all windows except in the heads which has a frosted glass window

There is a large owners cabin forward with hanging locker to port side and large lockers down both sides of the berth. There are further lockers, draw units and a shelf to the starboard side and a large locker forward of the berth with shelving. Beneath the aft end of the berth is a further locker and a large chart draw. There is further storage beneath the berth in two separate compartments.

There is another double cabin aft on the starboard side with a locker to port and a shelf to the starboard side.

The forward cabin has an additional purpose made luxury mattress with a fitted mattress protector and 2 fitted sheets.

Heads & Shower Compartment

The heads units has a Jabsco toilet, wash basin and separate showering area. The washbasin is set into a GRP laminate surface with mixer tap and mirror. There are additional lockers outboard for stowage of toiletries. The shower area has a separate thermostatic shower control with shower head. There is also a seat in the shower area. The heads utilises GRP mouldings and laminate bulkheads with teak trim around locker doors.

Saloon Area

The U shaped saloon area is on the port hand side forward of the galley area. It will comfortably seat 6 around the beautiful inlaid saloon table with bottle storage and draw inside cupboard beneath. There is an overhead Lewmar hatch. The port side saloon seat doubles up as a sea berth with lee cloth stowed under cushion. There is a bookshelf and two lockers outboard

On the starboard side is a further seat which has trotter box extending into the forward cabin so it can be used as another sea berth with lee cloth under the cushion. Above the starboard seat/berth are two lockers.

Galley

The large wrap around galley provides ample space for preparation of all your culinary requirements. It is located on the port side just aft of the saloon dining area.

A gimballed GN Espace Levante 3 burner cooker with grill and oven is fitted to the port side. There is a electrical solenoid shut off valve for the gas in the galley area. There is also a fire blanket.

There is a double sink to the forward end of the galley with hot and cold water mixer tap and stowage beneath. A top opening fridge is located forward of the cooker next to the sink.

Aft of the cooker is a top opening stowage bin with baskets There are plenty of stowage cupboards and draw units which house the crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, food etc..

Chart Table

The chart table is located to starboard just forward of the companionway steps. There is plenty of room for all your navigational electronics and stowage for Admiralty charts together with additional locker space.
