Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• She underwent a full overhaul in 2021 to prepare for ocean crossings.
• Flush forward deck for sunbathing.
• Underwent Safety Inspection ARC2021 and safety inspection by Belgian Naval Authorities in 2021.
• Hull has had new paintjob with Awlgrip HDT (dark blue) by Desty Marine, UK. No maintenance required except for rinsing (new 2020).
• Saloon windows were upgraded to flush MKII (new 2020).
• Antifouling: InterProtect 2000E basecoat + Pettit Trinidad Pro (65% copper) (new 2023).

Keel & Rudder:

• 9,500kg (20,500lb) shaped lead keel and a depth of 7’3” (2.23m) provides a ballast ratio of 42% providing maximum stability. Bearings serviced 2018.
• Semi balanced large Kevlar reinforced rudder.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Yanmar 4LHA-HTP 160hp 4 cylinder, turbo charged diesel engine with gearbox ratio of 2:68:1. Engine Hours: 3,689 @ 26-02-2024.
• Fully serviced by Desty Marine UK: descale heat exchangers, replace oil, coolant, elbow, … (2020, full service).
• Engine is flexibly mounted with Aquadrive coupling and stainless steel shaft to cast bronze p-bracket (2023, new Aquadrive).
• Dual Racor 500 FG fuel filter and water separator.
• Stainless steel sea chest reducing dramatically the number of through hull fittings, upgraded to MCA requirement.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Cruising Speed: 8 knots.

Propulsion & Steering:

• 24” Gori propeller and AM15 3 blade rope cutter.
• Maxpower 125 composite bow thruster.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• All new Victron electrical equipment on board (2021).
• 220v sockets throughout ship including in engine room, 12v sockets nav table, 110V outlets in master aft.
• Cerbo GX, plus display, is installed to monitor easily the power on board (new 2021).
• CANBus communication between Lithium BMS and all Victron equipment to control charge/discharge rates, and alternator (new 2022).

Battery Banks:

• Heavy-duty battery switches isolate all circuits apart from the independent bilge pump system.
• 24V 840Ah Lithium battery bank with CANBus communication to chargers (new 2021).
• 12V dual 160Ah starting batteries for engine and generator (new 2023, they can be linked together).

Battery Chargers:

• Victron Quattro 5000VA 120A 24V which charges the battery at 120A (new 2021).
• Victron Skylla-I 100A 24V (new 2022).

Alternators:

• Prestolite 100A 24V alternator on the engine.
• Wake speed WS500 external regulator with Sterling protector for lithium upgrade (new 2021) and 55A 12V alternator for starter batteries.

Generator:

• 11kva Onan Cummins generator. Fully serviced (2023, new motherboard) and heat exchanger replaced (new 2023). Generator Hours: 3,128 @ 26-02-2024.

Shore Power:

• 110v/220v shore power supply.
• Victron 7.3kva isolation transformer; Auto 220v switch installed between isolation transformer, 16amp socket and battery charger.

Other Electrical:

• New solar array with custom stainless steel frame on top of the davits (2022).
• Victron MPPT 170/50A Canbus solar charger (new 2022).
• 3 x 370W Sunpower Maxeon panels on custom stainless steel frame on top of the davits to support panels (new 2022).

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• 50-litre calori­er with 220v immersion.
• Salt-water pressure pump for deck wash ­fitted at anchor well and in galley sink.
• 15m of hose and hose gun.

Watermaker:

• Seafresh H206A watermaker 102 litres per hour, 230V/50Hz.
• Fully serviced (2023), new AC motor for HP pump (2022), new membranes (2024).

Bilge Pumps:

• Bilges are separated into 2 x areas.
• The forward cabin has its own electric bilge pump.
• The main cabin drains via limber holes to a deep sump fitted with high output electric bilge pump.
• There is also an electric bilge pump for the forward sail locker.
• All 3 pumps are fitted with automatic floats and 2 position switch.
• A manual bilge pump fitted with strum box can be operated from the cockpit.

Tankage

Fuel:

• 3 x Diesel high-density polyethylene tanks with baffles and inspection hatches.
• Tank 1 is 344 litres, tank 2 is 390 litres, and tank 3 is 600 litres.
• Each tank has a drain point at the bottom to permit the removal of water or contaminants.
• The main fuel feed is then led to a Racor fuel ­filter and water separator.
• There are contents gauges for all tanks.

Fresh Water:

• 2 x Fresh water food grade high-density polyethylene tanks from Tec Tanks, ­fitted with inspection hatches and baffles.
• Total capacity is 1008 litres.
• There are deck feeds for these and a rainwater catching system and contents gauge.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 2 x Blackwater tanks each of approximately 60 litres.
• Grey water-holding tank of 150 litres above keel sump.

Navigation Equipment

Navigation – on Deck:

• 3 x i70s Raymarine multifunction display (new 2020).
• 1 x p70s Raymarine autopilot control at cockpit (new 2020).
• Axiom Pro 12” plotter at cockpit (new 2022).

Navigation – at Nav. Desk:

• Axiom Pro 9” plotter at nav station (new 2022).
• 1 x p70s Raymarine autopilot control nav station to control the boat from the inside (new 2020).

• The freezer has two compressors and a volume of 170 litres, and the fridge has a capacity of 300 litres which is front opening. Both are by Frigomatic.
• The cooker is a gimballed Force 10 4-burner cooker with remote gas solenoid shut off‑ valve.
• 240v microwave.

Heads/Showers:

• Techma electric heads forward and aft with fresh and seawater flushing.
• Hot and cold deck shower.
• Heated towel rail in each heads compartment.
• Discovery hot tub behind helm including high-level valve in engine room, and teak grating.
