Brief history of 'Elsie'
BRIEF HISTORY OF VESSEL ( From the present owners)
Purchased in 2017. Began cruising the Thames in 2018. Travelled up the Grand Union Canal to her original builder, Delta Marine, in Warwick in late 2018.
Kitchen and aft cabin were completely remodelled by Delta Marine in 2019. Kitchen remodelling included reconfiguring the space while matching the mahogany cabinetry and adding granite worktops and all new Bosch appliances including an induction hob and dishwasher. The aft cabin was expanded and new storage added, again matching the existing mahogany woodwork.
Concurrent refurbishment included new flooring and carpeting throughout, exterior repainting, and full service of engine, generator, and bow thruster.
From 2019 to 2021 and again in 2023, we cruised the Thames. In 2021, we also travelled on the tidal Thames through London to Queenborough and onto the River Medway. In 2022, we took an amazing trip across the Channel and cruised the canals and rivers of Belgium and the Netherlands.
Description of interior layout
Aft Cabin: two single beds plus wardrobe, four large drawers, and shelving, all mahogany. Carpeted. En-suite shower room.
Wheelhouse with full instrumentation and hatch to engine room. Bench seating with removable dining table.
Kitchen with granite worktops and splash back, bar seating and two stools. Bosch appliances: induction hob, convection oven, dishwasher, microwave with grill. Vitrifigo refrigerator. Extractor fan vented to outside. Glass-fronted mahogany upper cabinets. Wood flooring.
Saloon with corner cabinets featuring glass-fronted uppers and lower storage cabinets, all mahogany. 42-inch LG television, air conditioner, and diesel stove. Wood flooring.
Hall includes coat cabinet, linens cabinet, clothes washer and tumble dryer.
Main bathroom with combination tub/shower.

Items being left or removed by the owners
We left the bin, together with a few items in the kitchen: set of pots and pans designed for an induction hob, two cutting boards, various knives on the knife rack, white ceramic dishes and plates plus two mugs, a total of 10 glasses, and cutlery. Also a radio in the saloon, a Freesat box in the cabinet below the radio, and the lamps throughout. Bed linens and pillows in both the main and aft cabins. Two pillows on the bench seat in the wheelhouse plus various bits and pieces under the bench seat that we thought could be of use to the next owners, and two wooden chairs and a small table in the bow locker. Any of these items may be kept by the buyers.
