Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

 

  • Registered Dutch Shipping Registry: 10343 Z A 2004
  • Dutch VAT paid 2004.
  • Privately owned.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • The hull construction is of hand laid GRP.
  • Complete removal of all the old layers of antifouling, primers and gelcoat till the outer layer of the laminate (2020), by Scarlino Yacht Services, part of Nautor Swan Global Service.
  • Application on dried hull of 8 coats of International Gelshield 200 in alternating layers (2021).
  • Application of 1 layer of International Primocon followed by 2 layers of International Micron 33. Plus, one additional coat on waterline (2023).
  • Structural bulkheads are marine grade water-proof plywood, laminated to hull and deck.
  • White Awlgrip painted hull topsides with dark blue stripes, done 2011.
  • New aluminium toe rail installed in 2011.
  • Deck is made in GRP sandwich construction with single laminate and aluminium back up plates under deck fittings (such as winches, tracks etc).
  • New Teak laid deck (new 2023). Top Trinidad traditional hand laid teak. 12 mm, glued with FE-180 Fitting Epoxy and caulking is SIS440. Both products from Teak-Decking, Florida USA.

 

Keel & Rudder:

  • Ballast keel is a lead casting with antimony. Cast in keel bolts are stainless steel.
  • Skeg hung rudder of foam filled GRP with s/s stock, 3 x polymer bushed bearings. Cable steering, aluminium quadrant. Re-build of rudder and stock in 2009, done at Scarlino. New chain, gear, cable and gear shaft (2023).

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • PERKINS H6-354M, 115 hp, original.
  • Bowman heat exchanger (new in 2021, at which time the engine had 11,580 hours).
  • Borg Warner hydraulic 2.1:1 gearbox, (rebuilt in 2019).
  • s/s shaft (new 2021).
  • MaxProp 3 blade feathering propeller.
  • Engine beds are of GRP with steel inserts.
  • Engine hours at August 2023 - 12,237.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

  • Top speed at 2400 rpm is around 7.5 knots.
  • Engine fully rebuild in 2003 out of the yacht.
  • Engine revision in Nov 2007 in Italy.
  • In 2018-19 the engine was lifted up into the saloon, full check of engine, tanks, bilge etc.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

  • Single helm position at the aft cockpit with a 1.33-meter diameter s/s steering wheel covered in marine grade leather (2023).
  • Emergency tiller system.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

  • 220 Volts outlets in all cabins, saloon, bathrooms & galley - powered by shore power, generator or inverter.

 

Battery Banks:

  • 24 Volt service systems.
  • 8 x 420Ah 6V service batteries, giving total of 840 Amp hours, new 2021.
  • Engine starting batteries & 1 generator battery.

 

Battery Chargers:

  • 1 x Mastervolt 100-amp back-up 220V charger.
  • 1 x Victron Phoenix MultiPlus 24/3000/70-30 Inverter/charger.

 

Alternators:

  • 2 alternators engine driven, MOTOROLA 24 dc, 175 Amp, for charging of service batteries and a 35-amp alternator for the engine starting battery.
  • 1 spare engine alternator.

 

Generator:

  • Onan e-series MDKBM 9.5 kW 1500 rpm, new in 2007.
  • Generator exhaust system dry pipe with water separation.
  • Generator hours at August 2023: 1,812.

 

Shore Power:

  • 220 Volt system shore power with polarity alarm.

 

Other Electrical:

  • 15-meter 32 Amp cable and variety of adapters.
  • 20m 32 Amp extension cable.
  • 3 x 12 Volt Converters for instruments.
  • Electric grill in oven (gas hobs and oven).

Plumbing Systems

 

  • Saltwater pump with Hydrophore for toilets flushing.
  • Deck wash fresh or salt water connection at forward port Dorade (system not complete).
  • 12 Blake’s bronze seacocks.
  • Saltwater foot pump in galley sinks for rinsing.

 

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

  • 60 litre hot water boiler (both engine and 220V heated).
  • 2 x Separate freshwater pressure pumps with Hydrophore.
  • Drinking water filter manifold.
  • Drinking water foot pump in galley sink.

 

Watermaker:

  • HEM +/-180 litres / hour.
  • Unit was on board at time of current owners’ purchase. It was rebuilt in 2016 incl. new membranes.
  • Reverse osmosis water filtered through active carbon filter.
  • Separate filter adding minerals for drinking water at galley sink with foot pump.

 

Bilge Pumps:

  • 4 x Bilge pumps, (2 manual and 2 electric).
  • Main bilge pump is connected directly to battery.

 

Tankage

 

Fuel:

  • Diesel tanks stainless steel approx. 900 litres. Tanks serviced and cleaned yearly.

 

Fresh Water:

  • Approx 1000 litre fresh water, in 4 separate s/s tanks.

 

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

  • Grey water from showers and wash-basins drain to sump tanks which have an electric pump out system.
  • Galley sink drains overboard.
  • There are two black water waste tanks for the heads – one aft and one forward, connected to both guest toilets (neither tank has been used recently)

 

Gas:

  • Two cockpit gas lockers with separate vents.
  • 2 Repsol refillable 6kg bottles. Camping gas also possible.
  • Electric and manual valves.

 

Navigation Equipment

  • Garmin x 4 GMI 20 Multi displays.
  • Garmin GPS Map 1223 plotter.
  • Garmin Radar GMR 24 x HD.
  • Radar 24” dome on Scanstrut holder on Mizzen mast.
  • Garmin VHF 315i.
  • Dedicated VHF Antenna on main mast with spare cable.
  • 2 x Garmin Active speaker VHF.
  • 2 x 24XD GPS antenna, 1 near chart table, 1 on pole.
  • Autopilot Raymarine EV 400 Sail, with Robertson chain drive engine (new spare).
  • AIS Em-trak B954 5-watt RT / Wi-Fi Splitter. Cable connected to plotter.
  • Dedicated AIS Antenna on Mizzen mast.

Domestic Equipment

Galley:

  • Original rebuilt Alpes Inox 4 stove gas burner and oven.
  • Microwave oven.
  • 2 build-in (220 V) bread baking machines.
  • Espresso machine.
  • Ice cube machine, portable 220v unit.
  • Day fridge Dometic CRX 110, located at port side galley.
  • Bottled drinking fridge Isotherm 3701 ASU, located below galley workspace, front opening.
  • Porcelain and glasses with PEAK logo.
  • The Euronova washing machine that was installed at the aft cabin broke and was removed. The space and plumbing are in place if a new owner wished to install a new one.

 

Heads/Showers:

  • Each of the three showers and sinks in the bathrooms have separate sump tanks.
  • 3 x Tecma electric salt / freshwater toilets.
  • Heated freshwater deck shower.
  • High pressure shower in aft cabin. Hand showers in guest bathrooms.

 

Heating & Ventilation:

  • Air Conditioning:
    1. 1 x Dometic, under SB forward cabinet in master cabin.
    2. 1 x Dometic, in forepeak cabin. Air can be directed to go to all forward cabins & main saloon.
    3. 1 x Dometic, in main saloon.
    4. All three can be used to heat as well and operate on 220v via shorepower or gen set.
  • 3 x Hatches, all Goiot. The main hatch in saloon, opens forward for increased air ventilation once at anchor. Sliding hatch over forepeak rebuilt new fibreglass with teak in 2023.
  • All hatches have new canvas blue & beige covers.
  • 4 x Prisms with sun blinds in master cabin.
  • Prisms in forward bathrooms.
  • 4 x Dorades with stainless steel hoods.
  • Engine room extractor with exhaust in mast.
  • Ventilation system throughout whole boat, additional Hella turbo fans in cabins.
  • The Webasto heater system remains on board but has not been used in a long while and is not warranted as operative.

 

Entertainment:

  • Bar cabinet.
  • Bluetooth audio with inside & outside speakers.

 

Lighting:

  • Ceilings with Cantaluppi LED lights.

Forward Guest Cabins:

  • Port guest cabin with upper and lower bed (lower bed 1.4m size), hanging locker, lockers outboard of lower bed, shelves over upper bed, reading lamps and it enjoys an en-suite bathroom.
  • Starboard guest Cabin, with upper and lower beds, hanging locker, lockers outboard of lower bed, shelves over upper bed, reading lamps.
  • Shares the starboard bathroom with the forepeak cabin.

 

Forepeak:

  • Crew cabin with V berths plus an additional infill piece to make a double berth.
  • Teak battens on hull sides, hanging locker and 3 lockers each side above berths.

 

Saloon:

  • Starboard side has a new design with lower L sofa, small table, bookshelves, bar unit aft, plus a multimedia system (behind teak roll-front) & bar (this modified layout was made under the former ownership and matches perfectly the original).
  • To port, she features a large U sofa and folding dining table.
  • Shelves and lockers.
  • Two types of upholstery available for all cushions, black upholstery and cream colour “crew covers”.

 

Galley:

Aft Guest Cabin:
