Turn-Key Ready! Just Add Food and Fuel And Start Your Adventure In The Heart Of The Caribbean!

This Contest 38S 'INUK' was refitted by a Dutch couple in preparation for their trans-Atlantic crossing in 2022. New standing rigging, a life raft, and new mainsail were among the many upgrades they completed prior to their crossing. In mid-2023 they sold INUK to her current owner who undertook over $20,000 of upgrades and modifications including new air conditioning, new head sail, modifying the mainsail to accommodate full battens and the ability to raise the sail from the cockpit. Also new batteries and many other items which are outlined in the listing below. Recent bottom job now makes her ready to launch and go. Like all Contest yachts she comes with a Lloyd's Certificate of Build Quality.

A few key upgrades to the sail system alone (Not to mention NEW AC unit, and upgrades to accommodate the US Spec 120V system as well as chargers/inverters etc.)

- New 120 C cut headsail with sunscreen by Doyle. $4,750.

- New Doyle Stack Pack $1600.Doyle re-cut mainsail to add full battens: $900

- Tides Track for mainsail: $800Changing slugs on mainsail to fit the Tides Track: $200

- Doyle installed Lazy Jacks: $500.

TOTAL: $8,800

Just on the sails nearly 9 grand has been spent with an additional 10 to 12 grand on various upgrades (120V system, chargers, inverters, New AC unit etc. The current owner has over $100k invested and ready to let someone benefit from his investment as his plans have changed and is no longer able to come sail like he had panned to. Someone is going to get an amazing deal on this solid, capable center cockpit cruiser!
