The Maggie D is a stunning 57ft x 12ft widebeam built by R & D Fabrications, featuring the ever-popular reverse layout.
Entering from the stern, you step into the galley, equipped with a cooker, Cookology fridge, Comfee freezer, LG washing machine, separate tumble dryer, and ample storage and workspace. From the galley, you move into the spacious saloon, which has freestanding furniture and has been newly carpeted for the new owner. A solid fuel stove provides additional warmth.
Continuing forward, you enter an office / storage area. For anyone requiring two bedrooms, this space could easily be reconfigured to create another cabin.
The off-corridor bathroom includes a cassette toilet, vanity basin and a large shower. At the bow, the master cabinoffers a freestanding double bed with slide-out drawers either side of the headboard, cupboard storage, and shutters on the windows.
Hot water on board is supplied by a calorifier and immersion heater, and the boat benefits from a stainless steel water tank. Propulsion is provided by a Nanni 65hp engine, complemented by a Nobels bow thruster with two dedicated bow-thruster batteries and a separate isolator located in the bow.
The extensive electrical systems on board allow for self-sufficient cruising. They include a Victron 1000W inverter, 8kW inbuilt cocooned generator, 375W of solar with MPPT controller, 1 starter battery, 4 leisure batteries, and 2 bow-thruster batteries. A 240V landline is also available when connected to shore power.
Externally, the boat features a collapsible wheelhouse and a large bow storage locker. The windows throughout are double glazed. In March 2025 the boat was blacked with 2-pack epoxy, and the bow-thruster tube was renewed. The owners have consistently blacked the boat with 2-pack epoxy every three years. Wide 10-inch gunwales provide easy movement around the exterior. The BSC is valid until 2029. The vessel has a Declaration of Conformity for the hull, it does not have a full Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) clarification.
The Maggie D has been a much-loved home and is now ready to welcome her new owners.
