Recent Refit Works : (All Invoicing Available Upon Request)

February 2022:

• All engine coolers stripped, ultrasonically cleaned, inspected and cooler cores pressure tested, prior to sand-blasting for paint, re-assembly and re-installed with new gaskets and hoses.

NOTE – all engine cooling system hoses replaced with new genuine parts, and all sea-water circuit hoses from the sea water pump outlet throughout the sea water cooling system have been replaced with genuine parts to the final sea water cooler.

November 2022:

• Both turbo-chargers removed for inspection, cleaning and repairs as necessary. Both refitted with new gaskets, seals, exhaust hoses and clamps, in preparation for sea.
• Vessel ashore @ Berthon for underwater blasting, preparation, filling and priming, with new antifoul (3 coats Seajet 034 antifouling paint), descaling/polish of sterngear and inspect/service all seacocks (3 x replacements required & fitted).
• New batteries fitted: service (2 x Exide AGM), and generator starting (1 x Varta). Engine starting battery passed drop test & health check.
• Port side A-bracket cutlass bearing found worn and replaced. All other bearings checked.
• Bilge system overhaul, cut, polish & wax to hull topsides, exhaust box repairs and anodes replaced.
• All internal upholstery professionally cleaned – February 2023.

July 2023:

• Electrical system appraisal and refurbishment, with new installation of Axiom PRO 9” MFD and 7” MFD, with new Nav+ SD chart for UK, Ireland and Holland NAEU628L.

Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The hull is constructed of hand-laid GRP using woven rovings and chopped strand mat with integral stiffening.
• Four full width plywood bulkheads are bonded to the hull and deck, complete with bonded longitudinals stringers with hardwood inserts which form the engine bearers to complete the hull stiffening.
• The hull is finished in white gelcoat, complemented by dark blue hull band and dark blue boot-top lines in a traditional Trader finish – last polished November 2022, with September 2023 valeting.
• The hull is protected by a full-length stainless steel rubbing strake at hull/deck join.
• Stainless steel opening inward opening hull ports throughout length of hull.
• Two large stainless steel inward opening ports to transom (allowing escape from master cabin).

Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The deck, superstructure & flybridge are constructed of hand-laid GRP in the same manner as the hull.
• The deck & superstructure and flybridge structures are separate mouldings from the hull structure.
• The aft deck is fully protected by a GRP-moulded deckhead running aft of the flybridge structure.
• The superstructure is bolted and bonded to the hull along the bulwark line.
• The sidedecks feature a GRP raised bulwark.
• The deck areas are sheathed in prime quality teak with black caulking compound between planks. The flybridge and the bathing platform are also teak laid.
• The forward coachroof is GRP with a moulded non-slip finish.
• External windows are safety glass, frameless and bonded to the superstructure moulding in aluminium frames.
• There is a watertight sliding door to the wheelhouse on the starboard side.
• Access to the saloon is via a sliding aluminium framed patio-style door from the aft deck.
• Teak decked bathing platform accessed by stairway.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Twin Caterpillar C9 ACERT inline 6-cylinder diesel engines, 510hp @ 2500 RPM, with 8.82L displacement.
• Turbo-charged and after-cooled, with electronic governor and HEUI fuel system.
• Shaft drives via mechanical ZF305A reduction gearboxes with 2:423 ratio.

Maintenance & Performance:

• Port: 1795 hrs @ October 2023.
• Starboard: 1788 hrs @ October 2023.
• Servicing as per maintenance above – last Caterpillar service following purchase in June 2018.
• Economical passage speed- 10/11 knots (approx.)

• 4 x high capacity automatic electric bilge pumps.
• Single high capacity manual bilge pump.

Tankage

Fuel:

• Approx. 2,600 litres (572 gallons) in 2 steel fuel tanks located in engine room to port & starboard outboard of engines, and 100 gallon extra tank.
• Fuel system allows either engine to draw and return to either tank via cross-over valves and manifolds.
• Fuel gauges for both tanks at lower helm with sight gauges on each tank.
• Stainless steel deck fillers on port & starboard sidedecks allowing filling of both tanks from each side via cross-over valves.

Fresh Water:

• 909 litre (200 gallons) fresh water tank in GRP water tank located beneath aft double berth.
• Water gauge in galley with sight gauge on tank.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• 100 litre (26.4 gallons) black water holding tank with Tankwatch 4 gauge.
