X Yachts X-442 – Description
Single owner. All taxes paid. Private use. Daily cleaning and maintenance by professional crew. Certificates up to date.
The Volvo engine was replaced with a new one in 2010, 55 HP, with a new sail drive. The boat includes all the extras that were offered by the shipyard that year.
The X-442 is a modern, even futuristic design that is at the same time eminently practical. X-Yachts has incorporated the best in terms of design, production techniques, and equipment to ensure lasting comfort and performance. On deck, operating the X-442 is simple and efficient. Easy access to the water from the swim platform, beautiful teak decks, anchoring equipment, robust genoa cars adjustable under load, and X-Yachts’ chain fittings equipped with SL tensioners are just a few of the details.
The X-Yachts design team placed great importance on producing a beautiful, timeless, and functional interior design. The cabin ceiling is intricately molded in white GRP and incorporates halogen lighting throughout the space. Curved wood moldings, carefully selected teak veneers, and high-quality carpentry characterize the interior of the X-442. In the galley, all drawers run on ball-bearing slides, and equipment such as the three-burner stainless steel gas oven, faucets, door latches, and pressure pumps are of high quality.
The owner’s cabin is equipped with two armchairs, a dressing table, and ample closet space, as well as storage beneath the large double bed. All scantlings — from the laminate schedule of the hull and decks to the dimensions and choice of materials for the rudder stock, keel bolts, and chains—are controlled and approved by the American Bureau of Shipping. The rudder stock is laminated directly to the rudder blade to produce an immensely strong structure. The entire rudder blade assembly is supported by low-friction roller bearings in both the hull and deck for optimal feel and control.
Keel, rigging, and hull loads are transmitted directly to a massive 500-kilogram galvanized floor frame. The company presents the information about this vessel in good faith.
