Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • GRP/balsa sandwich hull built with the infusion process, for an optimum resin/fibre ratio.
  • One-piece composite structure integrating lateral and longitudinal reinforcements glassed and bonded to the bottom, spreading the rig and appendages efforts throughout the hull.
  • GRP/balsa sandwich deck fitted on the hull via polyurethane bonding and mechanical fastening at bulwark level.

Description of layout from forwards:

  • There is a structural bulkhead behind the forward lazarette.
  • There is a double VIP berth cabin with ample storage and a door leading to a corridor that takes you to the main saloon.
  • Aft of the VIP cabin, there is a door to the starboard side leading to an upper and lower berth cabin.
  • To port, there is a door leading to a shared heads compartment with a WC, basin, and separate shower stall to serve both guest cabins.
  • The main saloon features a U-shaped seating area and folding dining table to starboard, with a fully equipped nav. station, forward of a 2-seater sofa to port. The main saloon is raised, bright, and airy, offering good visibility from the interior.
  • Diesel generator, engine and significant storage space are located below the main saloon floor.
  • To port is a linear galley, with good work surfaces, that leads to the owners’ stateroom.
  • The owners’ stateroom boasts a large centreline double berth with a seat and desk/dressing table to starboard. There is ample locker and hanging room storage, and an en suite heads compartment with electric WC, basin and separate shower stall.
  • All berths are equipped with lee cloths.

Deck Equipment

Rig:

  • Electrically powered furling rig with sails in Hydranet by Incidences of Brest.
  • Mast in anodised aluminium by Sparcraft, with three sets of aft-swept spreaders.
  • Rigid boom vang.
  • Compacted strand (Dyform) stainless steel standing rigging, double backstays, main, forestay, lower, intermediates and upper shrouds.
  • Control running rigging replaced with colour-coded Hercules by Liros in 2018.
