Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• The deck and hull are constructed of end-grain balsa core sandwiched between hand-laid fibreglass double aluminum frames.
• The wiring runs through conduits above the water line, while hoses are laid through ducts placed below the floorboards.
• Winches and heavy deck fittings are reinforced with plywood core and heavy backing plates.
• The stainless steel mast step is bolted to the integrated bottom reinforcement system which absorbs and distributes forces from the mast, rigging and keel.
• New teak decks throughout in 2020/21. Done at Fox’s Yard, Ipswich.
• Retractable bowsprit.

Keel & Rudder:

• Lead Fin keel with bulb and deep sump.
• Single balanced spade rudder, in GRP moulding with solid stainless steel rudderstock.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Volvo Penta D2-75 75HP Turbo.
• Inboard diesel.
• New turbo drive fitted 2020.
• S-drive overhauled and new gasket fitted in 2020.

Forward Heads Compartment:

• Separate shower stall (full standing space) with curtain on stainless rail.
• Wash basin to starboard.
• Towel hangers.
• 2 big lockers with fitted mirrors, 2 lockers with fitted mirrors above the wash basin and two lockers beneath the wash basin, and extensive lighting.
• Teak gratings.

Master Cabin

• Queen size double berth with mattress to port side with cabinets along hull side.

• Addition furniture comprises shelf and locker space and a chest of drawers providing significant additional storage.
• Large drawer and cabinet under berth.
• Hanging lockers.

Main Cabin & Galley

• Table to port with lockers and bookshelves above and additional storage behind the seating. 
• 2 cupboards with book shelving above saloon table.
• Starboard side of the saloon a good-sized chart table.
• Aft of this is the nav. Station.
• Long drawer, which takes full sized charts and large lockers.
