Relative informazioni Moody 38

English

The Bill Dixon designed Moody 38 centre cockpit grabbed the attention of the yachting press when launched in January 2000. Capturing the desirable attributes of earlier Moody centre cockpit designs the Moody 38CC was an evolution delivering a more performance-orientated hull form with longer waterline increasing average speeds for quicker passage making while retaining the stiff and stable nature of earlier designs. With all the sail controls lead aft to the cockpit she is ideally suited to short-handed cruising.

A one-owner example of the Moody 38, FIDDLER has been based on the west coast of Scotland since launching. During the current ownership she has been cruised predominately with just two people aboard as her owners explored the coastline and island for Scotland. Her inventory highlights include:

Yanmar 3JH3E (40hp) marine diesel engine

3 Blade bronze folding propellor

Sterling Power Products Pro-Charge Ultra battery charger

Sterling Marine Power advanced 4-step alternator regulator

Raytheon Autopilot system with linear drive unit

Raytheon ST60 navigation instruments

Simrad DSC VHF

SMEV two burner, grill and oven cooker

Large volume built-in fridge

In-mast roller reefing mainsail

Roller reefing genoa

Electric anchor windlass

Lying on her berth in Tarbert Harbour, Loch Fyne the Moody 38 FIDDLER is available for immediate viewing by prior arrangement.
