Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is category A – “Ocean” and was built to MCA Category 2 requirements.

TILLY MINT is registered on the German SSR. VAT was paid under former ownership in Malta.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Hull moulding in Flag Blue including colour matched port lights, boot top lines in white and with a silver cavita line. In 2015: topsides spray painted with 3 coats of Flag Blue acrylic Awl Craft paint over hull and transom, and 3 coats of white paint for the boot stripe.
• Topsides polished May 2023.
• Superstructure and all cockpit areas and bulwarks repainted 2018 in Awglrip Snow white.
• Touch ups of white paintwork around cockpit and deck area – May 2023.
• Teak decks totally replaced in 2018 including ring deck, superstructure top and cockpit area. In addition, the toe rail was sanded and both the gin and tonic seats on the pushpit and dolphin seats on the pulpit have fresh teak.
• Transom with steps for easy access to the water/a tender.
• Antifouling in black – May 2023.

Keel & Rudder:

• 13,200kg (29,400lb) performance shaped lead keel with 3% antimony hardening provides a ballast ratio of 39%.
• Semi balanced large Kevlar reinforced rudder.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Yanmar 4LHA 200hp diesel engine with gearbox ratio of 3.03:1.
• Aquadrive coupling.
• Engine hours – approx. 5,100 as of April 2023. The engine hour counter was changed in 2021, the hours when it was changed were approx. 4,950.

Maintenance & Performance:

• The main engine has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Serviced in April 2023.
• Spare shaft seal carrier fitted in a collar ready for use, and last replaced 2019.
• Engine room fans new 2020.
• Engine room chequer plates painted 2021.
• Engine room insulation replaced 2021.
• Main engine mounts replaced and engine re-aligned 2021.

Propulsion & Steering:

• Three bladed 28” diameter Gori propeller.
• Propspeed on propeller and shaft – May 2023.
• Rope cutter.
• Throttle control fitted to starboard helm.
• 2 x 32” aluminium white painted hide covered twin wheels with new paint and hide 2018.

Bowthruster:

• 15hp Maxpower 24volt Bowthruster with the control fitted to the starboard pedestal.

Note: There is an abundance of spare parts on board, which are included in the sale.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

• 220v 12/24 with the ability to receive 110v; Isolation transformer fitted to receive 110v.

Battery Banks:

• The batteries were last replaced in July 2019. At that time the ventilation was improved and heat sensors fitted.
• The service bank has 12 gel type 700ah 2v.
• There is a generator start battery that is 60ah, replaced in 2019.
• Engine start battery replaced 2019 with new battery box.

Alternators:

• 24v 150amp alternator to charge main 600Ah @ 24v battery bank.

Generator:

• Onan 11kw 50Hz 230volts generator in an acoustic hood – new 2018.
• Generator hours – 770 @ March 2023.
• Serviced April 2023.

Shore Power:

• Receives 220v with a 220v Ring main.
• New shore power socket 2021.

Other Electrical:

• All electric in-mast, foresail furling and winches.
• 2 x Victron Multi Plus 3000w charger/inverters for 230v charging of domestic battery bank and use of 230v appliances from 24v batteries (new 2019).
• 2 x Victron Orion 75amp DC/DC converter, enabling 12v charging from a 24V system.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Manual foot pump for galley fitted in the cupboard underneath the sink. Foot pump plumbed into the main galley tap, with a changeover switch for emergencies.
• New fresh water pumps 2021.

Watermaker:

• Desalinator watermaker, delivering 95 litres per hour. From 2020 it has only had 9 hours use. Pickled for storage.

Bilge Pumps:

• 1 x Manual bilge pump operated from cockpit.
• 2 x High output auto electric pumps in main bilge.
• 1 x Auto electric in forward sail locker.
• Bilge pump with float switch in each of the two stern lockers.

Tankage

Fuel:

• Total fuel capacity of 1,800 litres (395 gallons) in 2 x high density polyethylene tanks.
• 3 x Racor filters; pre-engine and generator.
• The generator runs off port side tank only; movement of fuel from tank to tank accomplished by fuel return plus manifolded piping with valves and a pump.

Fresh Water:

• Total water capacity 1,400 litres (307 gallons) in 2 high density polyethylene tanks.
• Spot filter provided for attachment to dock side hose.
• Compact hose provided to connect to dock side including connectors.

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

• Black water holding tanks for all three heads.
• Tecma electric toilets in all heads.
• 3 separate grey water sump tanks – forward, middships and aft.
