From the board of Stephen Jones. The Starlight 46 was designed as a performance cruiser with the build quality that Bowman Yachts are famous for. Superbly set up for cruising with professional remodel of forward cabin to provide large owners en-suite cabin forward. Significant refit in 2016 following which she has sailed to Portugal and had very little use since. Two double cabins and a superb workshop/utility cabin. Nanni 5.280HE 62HP Diesel. New 3D Tender 280 RIB, hypalon tubes and aluminium double floor- unused.

Crash bulkhead fitted aft of deck storage locker, which also houses the vertical lifting bow thruster and battery bank, provides storage for downwind sail, warps and kedge anchor. Rear cockpit lockers provide storage for outboard engine, warps, folding bicycles and canvas items. Two ventilated gas lockers provide storage for 4 gas bottles. Edson 2 x 40inch wheels - hide covered. Separate quadrants and steering cables to each wheel providing backup. Each wheel pedestal has Silva steering compass. 2 x 64ST Lewmar primary winches. 2 x 54ST Lewmar halyard and sail control winches, 1 electric starboard side. 2 x 48ST Lewmar secondary sheet winches. 18 Lewmar clutches in total for all halyards and staysail sheets. Mainsheet 5:1 leading to Lewmar winch, with car on cockpit track with 4:1 controls and cleats. All lines from the mast return to the cockpit under covering boards. Lewmar Genoa track with adjustment. Aluminium toe rails. Guardwires with gates port and starboard. S/S handrails. Stainless steel arch installed at stern to support 400W Victron solar array and dinghy tender storage/launching. New 2016 Lofrans X3 electric anchor windlass, 60m calibrated chain and 40m anchor warp, 33Kg Rocna anchor and anchor snubber. All unused system installation.
