Catabella is a French-built Nautitech Open 40 catamaran designed for speed, style, and safety making it the ideal choice for a family or couple embarking on a coastal or blue-water sailing adventure. Her first and only owner, an Australian couple, has been cruising the Mediterranean and are now ready for some new projects.
The award-winning design by Marc Lombard is renowned for its comfort and practicality while offering effortless manoeuvrability while at the helm. The forward-facing galley offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable liveaboard experience, while boasting three cabins that offer natural light and ample space. The Nautitech Open 40 is constructed from closed-cell foam making the hull more resistant to impact and water absorption. Catabella also features solid composite bilges, sacrificial keels, and a series of strategically placed watertight bulkheads which make it one of the safest offshore cruising catamarans available on the market.
The Open 40’s slimline hulls provide a waterline that slices through the water, while providing a spacious interior and all-important structural rigidity. With aerodynamic keels, the Open 40 reaches a level of performance usually offered by daggerboard catamarans.
