Pocketful - Starlight 35
OverviewPocketful is a wonderful example of the evergreen Starlight 35 designed by Stephen Jones and built by Rival Bowman Yachts in 2000. The Starlight 35 is rated by some as within the top three yachts of the 20th century. They are fast, fun, well built, sea kindly with a great interior and excellent cockpit, a fabulous boat all round. She is fitted with the deep fin keel giving a draught of around 1.8 metres at light displacement.
Sail WardrobeHer sail wardrobe is comprehensive and consists of:
- Cruising laminate tri-radial genoa
- Mainsail
- Unused storm jib
- Tri-sail
- Hank on number 3 genoa
- Spinnaker in a wounded condition
EngineThe engine is a Volvo Penta D1-30 installed new in 2007 and serviced on a yearly basis since, with the last service being in 2023.
Navigation and Communication EquipmentNavigation and communication equipment is satisfactory and comprises of:
- Raytheon ST60 Bidata
- Raymarine C120 multifunction display with radar
- ICS paper print out Navtex
- Garmin GPS
- ICOM DSC VHF base unit
Safety EquipmentSafety equipment is supplemented with:
- Viking 6 person life raft (next service due in 2026)
- EPIRB
- SART
Comfort FeaturesPocketful is fitted with a Mikuni diesel fired warm air heater to improve the winter months comfort rating. All saloon windows and hatches have been replaced and the lighting is LED throughout.
Included ItemsAn Avon Redcrest Dinghy with Yamaha 2.5 hp outboard is included in the sale, along with wind vane steering.
