The Sigma 33 OOD (Offshore One Design) was designed by David Thomas, and introduced in 1978, becoming an immediate success. Fan is an original Sigma 33 OOD with a deep fin keel and a fractional rig. The One Design concept ensures fair competition and making the Sigma 33 a top choice for sailors looking for a competitive yet accessible class. Whether used in local races or more challenging offshore regattas, the Sigma 33 stands out for its ability to perform under various wind and sea conditions, while offering the comfort and practicality required for extended cruising.
