Hinds Taylor are delighted to present Blue Goose, an outstanding Moody 46 built in 2000. A proven bluewater cruiser, this yacht has been extensively upgraded and meticulously prepared for serious offshore sailing, including the installation of a new Paguro 4SY generator and a new watermaker.
Having successfully completed the ARC+ and returning on the ARC Europe rally, she is fully ARC-ready and equipped for extended ocean passages. The current owner has invested significantly in professional preparations, ensuring the vessel meets the highest standards of safety, comfort, and performance.
In 2024, the keel was dropped, inspected, and all keel bolts were replaced by specialists at 'Destiny Marine' in Hamble Point. The mast step was also removed and refitted with new bolts. Allspars carried out a full rig inspection, replacing the standing rigging and all halyards. In addition, all through-hull fittings were replaced in 2024 for complete peace of mind.
Her inventory is extensive and includes numerous recent upgrades to navigation systems, safety equipment, and onboard comfort - a full list is available on request.
