The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40 was built in 1999 in the possession of the first own example, of which the yacht never reached the Jeanneau dealer Bleu Marinein Dunkirk (France).

Algae
Designed by Daniel Andrieu for the Sun Odyssey 40, it boasts a stable, rounded frame and comfortable balance. With a length of 12.20 m, a beam of 3.95 m, and a draft of 1.95 m, the boat is easily accessible. The twin wheels in the aft locker are designed for clear and comfortable operation, while the artificial teak (Flexteak, 2017) and cockpit table make outdoor living very comfortable.
Engine & Technology
The vessel is equipped with a Yanmar 4JH3E diesel engine (55 hp), coupled to a shaft drive. The engine is scheduled for construction in 2024 and will be extensively installed at a Volvo Penta dealer in the state.

interior
The three cabinsfeature a spacious sleeping areaand an additional berth in the saloon. With a standing height of 1.95 meters, the interior is comfortable and quiet. The saloon is furnished with a table with a tabletop and a cardboard box. The interior is classic, with wood paneling, beige fabrics, and original cushions.
The galley is fully equipped with a two-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator (200 liters), and a small freezer compartment. For added comfort, there's an electric pressurized water system, a 40-liter boiler, and heating via a Webasto heater. The bathroom facilities include a manual toilet, an indoor shower (hot/cold), and a large shower (cold).
