Seaworthy, with easy circulation, the brand new Swift Trawler 48 accommodation is well thought out and easy to live aboard. The designers at Andreani Design drew from the extensive Swift Trawler experience with other models, seeking to maximise the flow onboard and to create a warm, familiar feel to the accommodation.
The main deck features a large galley fitted aft, with a full-height fridge freezer, Corian worktop & plentiful stowage on port side aft, with a very spacious sideboard on starboard which is configured with Villeroy & Boch crockery. This arrangement ensures you are still part of the party, whether catering for guests eating in the forward dinette or aft in the cockpit.
Forward of the galley is a raised large dinette that easily converts to a double berth. The helm station is on starboard adjacent to the signature Swift Trawler sliding side door and bulwark side door for easy docking and movement around the boat.
On the lower deck, there are three cabins in total, with a master cabin forward, one double berth and a twin berth. In addition, there is a saloon conversion offering a further double berth.
The forward owner's cabin features a double berth, large hull windows & overhead hatch for plenty of natural light and ventilation. Space is luxury and there is an incredible 8.5 sqm of overall space in this cabin, which is bathed in natural light from the side hull windows, which have openable portholes for keeping the area well circulated. The en-suite bathroom includes a separate shower cubicle with a seat and another opening porthole.
The port guest cabin has a large hull window, a wardrobe and an infill to make up a double berth with an en-suite door to the day head – in which you find a separate shower cubicle with a seat too. This head has a shared door to the lower hallway, making it accessible for the starboard cabin.
The starboard guest cabin features a transverse double berth and storage.
