Ruth and Ron Boogaard's collaboration with Horizon Yachts began in 1993, when Ron and his parents-in-law traveled to Taiwan, where they visited nearly twenty different shipyards in one week. Finally, they placed the first order for 3 new yachts at Horizon Yachts. This was followed by more than 200 yachts built by Horizon.

At the same time, Ruth and Ron Boogaard decided to relocate to Mallorca, where they founded their own company, based in Port Andratx, in 1994. Since then, they have been responsible for the sale and service of Horizon Yachts in the Mediterranean. This laid the foundation for a successful cooperation with the Horizon Yachts company since more than 25 years.

In 1999, Ruth and Ron opened another sales office in the marina of Puerto Portals. Today, Ron and his team continue to work closely with the Horizon Shipyard, and Horizon Yacht Europe is the Horizon Yachts head office in Europe, providing full service to European customers in sales, service and aftersales.

With his lifelong maritime expertise and over 25 years of in-depth understanding of Horizon products, Ron and his team are able to provide Horizon customers with the highest standards of service they both expect and deserve to increase positive experience as a yacht owner.
