Acerca de este Oyster 435

English

1985 Oyster 435 centre cockpit ketch cruising yacht suitable for blue water cruising. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a well-maintained Oyster 435 that has only had three owners, with the current owner owning her since 2009 and having only lightly sailed on the East Coast during her current ownership. The vessel is powered by a Volvo Penta MD30a 62HP diesel engine with shaft drive and has up to 8 berths with 2 heads. This aft cabin vessel has a great layout below decks and excellent seakeeping abilities, even in heavy weather. This Oyster 435 is equipped with a Raymarine Axiom 9 chart plotter and AIS, which were installed in 2018, radar, VHF, Vetus 75KGF bow thruster fitted in 2010, autopilot, wind generator, water maker, Webasto blow air heating, and a full winter cover that has been used every winter in her current ownership.  The vessel is located at Shotley marina and viewing is by appointment only.

Accommodations

Saloon

The saloon has curved seating surrounding a folding table that can be converted into a double berth to the port side of the vessel. Saloon seating upholstery was replaced in 2012, and there is ample storage above and below. On the starboard side of the saloon, there is a chart table with an adjustable height seat and plenty of storage for charts and instrumentation, including autopilot control.

The aft cabin provides ample storage and space, with a double wardrobe and a queen-sized island bed. In addition to a dressing table, the aft cabin has a comfortable seating area. The en-suite is accessible from the cabin's port side and features a sea toilet, shower, and additional storage. The forward bulk head stores a demountable workbench that can be placed over the wash basin and toilet.

Forward Cabin

The forward cabin is a traditional V-berth with ample storage, including a hanging looker. Additionally, the forward cabin has a door that provides direct access to the midships head.

Midship Cabin

The midship cabin provides two additional full-length berths in a bunk bed arrangement, with storage beneath both berths.
