This is genuinely a remarkable little boat..which has crossed the Atlantic ocean multiple times - but now needs someone to give her some TLC...
Firstly, those who want a modern, sleek production sailing yacht probably won't like "Serenity"
However, those who are looking for a proven ocean passage making boat which is truly affordable, easy to manage and supremely comfortable for an intrepid sailing couple (or solo sailer), looking to do some serious sea miles in a boat with real character - read on....
The first owner, who built her we believe from 1997 to 2000, took her on two voyages from Lancashire to the Azores and back.
The second owner took her from Preston to the Caribbean and back.
All of this in a boat under 24 feet long!
Third and fourth owners have not found the time to carry on the voyages of "Serenity" and she has started become a little neglected.

Due to dismasting in a storm while on hard-standing (Feb 2014), new mast installed (July 2014) in Z351 section, together with standing rigging, NASA target 2 marine steering compass, new masthead light, combination steaming, deck fllod light, VHF aerial, windex. (Brokers note - zero miles sailed since the new mast and rig)
Instruments: target 2 depth sounder (new 2015), Garmin 152H GPS (2017), Nav 6 Navtex, VHF Radio, AIS Radar, Navman tracker 5500 chartplotter.
Electrical: 2 x 85 AH leisure batteries and 1 new (2016) engine start battery.
2 x 100 w solar panels with 2 x 20 amp regulators (new Jan 2017).Galvanic isolator fitted (2013).
Rewired throughout 2015-2016.
Electric and manual bilge pumps.
Sails:
1x roller furling genoa, 1 x slab reefing mainsail, 1 x storm sail, 1 x cruising chute with snuffer.
