This Omega 828, open cockpit, sports cruiser with a deep vee planning hull built by Trident Marine of Portchester, England and designed by the renowned Renato "Sonny" Levi is now for sale as the very experienced owner is satisfied that her mechanical restoration is such that he is happy to pass her on to a new owner to enjoy.

Recognised as the Sonny Levi fibreglass equivalent of the Fairey Marine Spearfish with arguably better / more streamlined lines. The deep-vee hull with a fine entry gives her good handling in a seaway.

She is powered by twin Ford Sabre 180Hp Dorset diesel engines on shafts and propellers for fast offshore passages. The engines have approximately 30 hours usage on them since the engines were rebuilt. 

Her accommodation is arranged in a single cabin forward with greater space than the Spearfish providing three berths comprising a pilot berth and two 6ft 6in berths forward which with the use of an infill can be converted to a double together with good locker space. A galley with a liberal amount of workspace is to starboard and a toilet compartment to port.

While the engines were out the engine bay was refurbished including replacing a central stringer support

The gearboxes were also stripped and refurbished.
