About this Bermudan Cutter 42ft

English

Spring Breeze was designed by Fredrick Parker in 1980 and is, most likely, one of his last designs before his passing in 1985. Fredrick was known for designing the Javelin 30 in GRP, in his own comments ‘not a material he favoured’.

Spring Breeze was built using a cold moulded method from 25mm Iroko, with a teak deck. The original owner, who had a smaller Fred Parker yacht beforehand, designed her with racing and extensive cruising in mind. After some very early design changes to the keel and rudder, what is found today in Spring Breeze is a very capable cruising yacht.

Spring Breeze offers great volume and head room down below, able to accommodate seven guests in three cabins and the two pilot berths in the salon with a two heads compartments. A full galley and, in the bow, a water tight cabin which houses the onboard workshop.

In the current ownership, since 2002, Spring Breeze has been the subject of several upgrading and works including: re calking the teak decks in 2013 and complete repaint of her topsides in 2016.

Now awaiting the next family to see her into the next 40 years.
