This fine bilge-keel Westerly Konsort has clearly benefited from careful ownership throughout her life. The interior is particularly smart, with the woodwork and headlinings appearing to be in fine condition. With her notably wide beam, the Konsort is a famously comfortable cruiser, offering excellent seakeeping and easy handling.
With accommodation for up to six, she feels larger and more substantial than her 28'10" length might suggest, making her a great choice for family cruising.
Sea Kite is well equipped, featuring a dinghy and outboard, Garmin chartplotter, tiller pilot, manual windlass, recent Nelson cooker, and more.
If you’re seeking a shallow-draft, capable cruiser with plenty of space, Sea Kite deserves a place at the top of your list.

Owner's Comments
We bought Sea Kite with a view to cruising locally on the south coast and Solent area after spending many years on our previous Westerly exploring other European waters and the Mediterranean.
We have loved her for her ease of handling, spacious accommodation, especially the saloon and cockpit, perfect for having our family (children and grandchildren) able to stay on board with us. We have mostly cruised locally from our base in Poole Harbour along the south coast & including visits to the Isle of Wight.
We have kept her well maintained with regular engine servicing, electrical updates, general regular maintenance of sea cocks, the interior, varnishing annually, polishing the sides & cockpit, maintaining the cockpit winches, antifouling annually (done by the yard at Parkstone in Spring 2025), decks painted in 2024.
We are reluctantly selling due to ill health.
