Built with a solid fiberglass hull, Capella’s sacrificial keels withstand groundings and provide excellent upwind performance, with enough stability for beaching when maintenance is needed. In 2022, her mast, boom, and rigging were comprehensively overhauled, showcasing her readiness for sea with every joint inspected and treated against corrosion.
Capella’s proven seaworthiness is evident in her six-month circumnavigation of Fiji without a single issue, reflecting her reliability and capability for true ocean cruising.
