Summary
This Nimbus 320 Coupe is a well maintained and recently upgraded vessel, designed with solid build quality for offshore use. Standard and Floor plan
Well maintained and upgraded boat. Among other things, new hull penetrations, new batteries, new belts for compressor and dynamo, new propeller for bow thrusters and hydraulic hose for gearbox, new mattresses etc.
Like all Nimbuses, this one has solid build quality and good, clear floor plans around the building. There are no known faults or defects with the vessel, with the exception of a route in the roll cage that should be replaced for the winter.
The boat is not mortgaged and the boat was last on land in June 2023. It is registered in the Small Boat Register.
The boat has easy access from the stern platform and a closable opening/door in the stern. Step board in the bow for disembarking from the bow.
Large and nice cockpit solution with fixed seating for 4-5 people, partly covered by the extended hard-top. The sliding door opens and provides an airy and nice transition to the galley, salon and clear helm position.
Large, nice roof hatches in the hardtop can be easily opened and closed, and the side windows can be easily opened for more ventilation.
Large double berth in the bow which has been pulled back a little so that it has greater width all the way around. Double berth under the salon, amidships. Option to convert to a double bed in the lounge.
Amidships down from the saloon/wheelhouse you will also find a large bathroom with toilet and shower facility.
Sea characteristics and mechanical
Nimbus is known for having solid sea characteristics and is stable and safe in the sea. The boat has CE class B, which means that it is designed to drive offshore and withstand heavy seas.
The boat is equipped with a 260 hp Volvo Penta D4 diesel, clocked 1,212 hours. Service history included. Top speed 25-26 knots, cruising at 20-22 knots.
Upgraded electronics provide, among other things, information on consumption while walking. Straight axles ensure easy maintenance and safe progress. Both bow and stern thrusters make it easy to maneuver in tight harbours. The engines were serviced in April 2023 and anodes changed in June 2023.
