The Neel 51 (Loft 4 cabins / 4 head with showers ). A great-sailing performance trimaran with comfort to go with it. The Neel 51 has been tried and tested and found to be a very comfortable blue-water cruising trimaran for all the family and friends. You will not be disappointed. There is a large C-shaped galley fitted with an AEG induction hob and a Panasonic electric convection/steam/microwave oven with a Grill, and whoever is cooking will benefit from a great view from the almost 340-degree windows. On the same level is the large master bedroom with plenty of vision on the starboard side, which is stunning when at anchor, complete with an en-suite. The galley continues to the already large saloon, which seamlessly follows outside to the cockpit. It left other multihull manufacturers catching up.
The weight is kept central and low by having a massive technical room, which gives better performance and safety due to the centre of gravity. This gives you plenty of room to easily maintain the 75 HP Volvo engine, 3 x lithium Lipo 4 batteries, water maker, washer/dryer 8KG and other systems. To the bow of the central hull, you have a double cabin with an en-suit shower and toilet that can also be used as a day head. Then, in each outer hull, you have a double cabin with an en-suite in each with further storage in the bows. You really have a lot of storage in this boat. The well-equipped mid helm gives the helm a dominant position, being able to keep an eye on what’s ahead along with what’s happening on the boat. The helm then leads to a comfortable flybridge with seating and sun beds. It really does cater for everyone.
The wide beam and three hulls provide unparalleled safety, comfort, and seakeeping, with large bridge deck clearance underneath. A strong bow thruster is fitted, which assists in manoeuvring.
Further options fitted at the point of build are 2.6kW of solar panels, Ultra stainless 35kg anchor, folding propeller rope cutter, coach roof grab rails, bow seats, inner steps to helm station, raised stanchions and lifelines, and extra bow cleat. Extra Flexiteak was laid soon after delivery, and more recently, extra 230V sockets, 24V water heating and dimming saloon lighting—the Mastervolt solar installation with 3 x lithium batteries and 2 x 4000W inverters.
