The 38 Sport is the second generation of the 38 Super Sport that was first introduced in 2015.
This new 38 Sport or otherwise the MKII version, has major improvements in the hull design and a refined deck layout. The hull is optimized for even more offshore performance and the new deck introduces an aerodynamic Console with a new sleek one piece hard top. As a result the under cabin area has increased and is now more spacious!
The 38 Sport offers a unique staggered-engine configuration and extreme sea-keeping capabilities that deliver an experience unlike anything else on the water. This is a boat designed to deliver the power, confidence, and desire to explore like never before.
Powertrain, Construction and Performance
Staggered Mercury engines
The 38 Sport is the only boat in the world in this category with staggered Mercury engines. By installing both engines close to the keel we obtain a lower centre of gravity, minimise drag from the drives, and maximise grip on the propellers - all of which are vital for the vessel’s towering performance and razor sharp handling.
Engines - Powertrain
Mercury 8.2 MAG H.O. / Big Black V8 - 430 HP / 321 Kw- Fuel : Regular Unleaded 87 Octane Gasoline
Free flow Stainless underwater exhaust system with free flow headers
Transom : Mercury Racing ITS / 7 inch setback with integrated Racing Steering
Drives : Mercury Racing Bravo I XR Drives with 5 Blade Mercury Racing Props
Finest materials and state of the art techniques
This ‘go anywhere’ hull is made to cut through waves at high speed, so both its construction and materials must absorb and withstand the energy of repeated impacts. This is only achievable with the finest materials, evolving know-how and state-of-the-art techniques. All our boats are built using premium quality glass fibre mats in a sandwich construction, with high-density Divinycell core materials. The consrtuction procedure used is Vacuum infusion, something that defines Goldfish, and has been perfected for over 15 years now.
