Based on the Swedish island of Orust; the home of Swedish boat building, the Forgus Yacht yard shares its DNA with yachts from the likes of Hallberg-Rassy, Najad and Malo. The flagship model of the yard and their designer Hugo Samuelsson the Forgus 37 was conceived to compete with the immesley popular 36’ yachts from Hallberg-Rassy and Najad.

With her centre cockpit layout and distinctive Scandinavian appearance the Forgus 37 follows a well proven formula. Below decks she offers two double cabins with a large open plan saloon. With her current owners for almost two decades the Forgus 37 BOREALIS has been a much loved family boat. Cruising the coasts of Ireland and Scotland extensively she is a common sight in anchorages. Now reluctantly for sale as her owner ‘swallows the anchor’ her inventory highlights include:

Laminate grid of Internal ribs and stringers individually laminated to hull internally

Hull finished externally with original gel coat

Blue sheer band and boot top stripes in original gelcoat finish

GRP moulded deck and coach roof of sandwich construction

Stiffening of deck in way of high load fittings

Laid teak decking on side decks, coachroof and in cockpit
