Jago is a superb example of the unsinkable Etap 21i fitted with the Etap innovative, tandem keel. The tandem keel is designed to reduce both draft and drift and is essentially two keels placed in tandem, linked by a wing / bulb. The bulb has a wing profile aiding lift. During a Yachting Monthly boat test, an Etap 21i was deliberately filled by opening seacocks and then sailed in the Solent - unsinkable indeed! Yacht & Boat Magazine's review concluded "Handling the Etap is simple . . . This is a delightful and refreshing boat to sail . . .".
