Boat Overview
The Ballistic 4.8 RIB has a capacity for five passengers. It is simple to launch and recover, and very easy to tow behind most family cars. The Ballistic 4.8 is the newest member of the Ballistic RIB family. The brief was to provide a RIB that can be operated by a small crew but feels like a bigger boat when out on the water. We have created a small RIB that is not afraid of going where the big RIBs go and do so in enough comfort that an enjoyable day out on the water is effortless.
Stability and Performance
Her excellent stability and sea-keeping come from the combination of a strong deep V-shaped hull and large tubes which only just skim the water.
Versatility
The Ballistic 4.8 RIB is very much at home whether being used as a yacht tender for larger sailing boats, whisking you and the family to the beach, exploring coves and harbours, or even as a support boat. The RIB will happily tow wakeboarders, water skiers, or inflatables, providing hours of fun.
