Owners Comments and Boat History:

I bought Little Wing in late 2023 after admiring her from afar for years. She is a dream boat —one of the finest examples of the Sam L. Morse-built Bristol Channel Cutter line I’d ever seen. I wasn’t looking to make major changes; she was already in top condition. But like any true sailor in love with his boat, I still found myself refining her. I had the watermaker fully serviced, the hatchway refinished, and put three more coats on the bowsprit just because it felt right.

She doesn’t need a thing—but I’ve always liked knowing that if something could be better, I made it so. I honestly can’t think of anything more she needs to be a capable long-distance cruising boat.

Her story goes deeper than me. The first owners sailed her across the Pacific in company with Lin and Larry Pardey, shipped her back from New Zealand, and eventually passed her along. Owner #2 never really used her, and owner #3—already an experienced cruiser—sailed her from the U.S. to the Caribbean and back. Since then, she’s spent most of the last few years in freshwater and stored inside. She’s been gently used but continually upgraded.

I wasn’t originally planning to list her—but life changes fast. I realized my partner might only join me aboard a few times a year, and I didn’t want Little Wing sitting unloved. So here we are. I’m still torn, but I’ve decided to give someone else the chance to own a Bristol Channel Cutter that’s not just capable—it’s exceptional.

Let her carry you wherever your dreams point next.
