This Princess V48 motorboat built in 2006 to 2007 specification is an extremely clean example of a very popular sports cruiser. The boat has been exceptionally well maintained, updated and looked after by the current owner who has owned the boat from new. It is ideal for coastal use, channel hopping in comfort or cruising rivers. The boat offers excellent light spacious accommodation with two good sized cabins, completed with comfortable finishing touches and exceptional gadgets you would expect of a motorboat of this quality. An early viewing is highly recommended.
Accommodation :
The Princess V48 offers four berths in two cabins, a large saloon and very spacious cockpit with sunbathing area, all of which provides a fantastic entertaining space.
The owner’s cabin is forward with a large double island berth with under berth storage and hanging wardrobe on the port side and vanity unit to the starboard side. It has an en-suite heads which has a white sink mounted in a vanity unit with an electric marine toilet. The sink has hot and cold-water and there is a separate walk-in shower.
Aft of the Forward Cabin is the very luxurious saloon with high gloss woodwork with a U-shaped settee to port with a high gloss saloon table that will drop and make into an additional berth if required. The saloon also benefits from 12V TV, Hifi with CD player and Radio.
Opposite the saloon is the extremely well-equipped galley. The Galley located on the starboard side below the helm position with copper canyon worktops, plenty of cupboards and drawer space, sink with pressurised hot and cold water heated by the engine’s and a 50L Isotemp stainless steel hot water tank, isotherm clear ice maker, and electric hob. The galley also has a 24v/240v Fridge with ice box and additional sockets. This Princess V48 also has the benefit of two D5 Eberspacher diesel heaters and electric heating throughout as well as a Jabsco quiet variable speed water pump and an updated quiet shower pump.
Aft of the saloon and amid ships is the guest accommodation with hanging wardrobe storage, ensuite with shower, and two single berths. Opposite is the Heads which has a white sink mounted in a vanity unit with a marine toilet. The sink has hot and cold water and a shower.
The companion way steps lead to a very roomy open plan cockpit area with curved seating to the port side behind the helm position with extra seating located on the starboard side opposite the helm. The open plan cockpit also benefits from a 32inch smart TV with Bluetooth connection to the Hifi system, large aft sunbeds, external Galley, BBQ, sink, isotherm clear ice maker, fridge and walk through transom to the bathing platform, tender garage, shore freshwater inlet and access to the engines.

Built in late in 2006 to 2007 specification this Princess V48 has a white GRP hull and decks with non-slip surfaces. It has a teak deck in the aft cockpit area. Wheel steering, Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Glass windscreen with black bonded surround. Walk through transom gates to bathing platform. Teak battens to bathing platform. Self-draining cockpit. Last out of the water in July 2023 to have her anodes changed re antifouled and hull polished. The only is only selling as they have purchased a larger Princess motor yacht.

Mechanical Systems:
This Princess has two Volvo Penta D9, 575HP diesel engines, powering two shaft driven 4 bladed nickel and bronze propellers. The engine was last service in July 2023. The engines are supplied by a 1680-litre fuel tank. These engines are also fitted with an engine and gearbox oil electric pump out and vacuum system, making servicing and oil changes very easy. To make handling easy this boat is fitted with bow thrusters and Trim tabs. Hydraulic steering. The engines have completed approximately 2000 hours as of 26th March 2024.
Electrical Systems:
The Princess V48 has a 24V system, with 8 x 12-volt batteries (4 x engine + 4 x domestic batteries). These batteries are controlled by Victron battery system with monitors on the Domestic, engine and generator batteries. These batteries are charged from alternator and via 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger. This princess also has the benefits of having a 7KW Generator with own starting battery and a Victron inverter with automatic changeover.
