Her appearance is stunning - you stand on the pier and look in awe, wondering how the designer created such a beautiful yacht! Rivale 52 expands on the retro design family that started with Aquariva and grew with Rivarama, while the Rivale 52 is the true pinnacle of this lineup.
Rivale 52 "INFINITY" is painted in pure white and has high tops that have a powerful curve at the deck and above the deckhouse roof. The air intakes are cut out at the top, while the ports and windows on the sides are hidden behind a smoked glass panel, creating a clear yet contrasting line.
A very rounded swimming platform welcomes you on board, and there are steps to the cockpit on both sides of the aft sun deck. Quality starts here - the sunbed is made from brown leather (yes, genuine leather), and the entire unit lifts hydraulically to reveal the garage for Williams 285. The inside of the garage has perfect finishing, as are all the other hidden areas of this yacht.
The mast, more like a sculpture, rises above the sun deck. Its two curved legs end in a crosspiece with aerodynamic wings and antennas on top. A sofa forward of the mast connects to a folding teak table and another couch to the starboard, creating a very comfortable seating area. A built-in bar and barbecue opposite serve this area further.
The Rivale electric bimini, which fits around the handlebars and opens gently at the touch of a button, is the smartest on the market - even by today's standard. The helm is clean and straightforward, with a brown leather steering wheel matching the royal brown cockpit seats. MAN's electronic throttles are in the right place, with displays and engine switches from MAN doing their job perfectly.
Guests descending the central staircase will find themselves in a stunning interior. Here Riva hit the right note, a mixture of retro and modern. Joinery from straight-grained bleached oak has a hint of the color of the exterior finish, giving the interior a warmth and cozy feeling.
Separating the wood is a panel of off-white silk on the bow bulkhead and brushed stainless steel on the lockers in the galley and cabins. The curved sofa in creamy white leather and the adjacent window, shelf, and table match its curves.
The owner can hide the galley appliances under the openable tabletop, and the fridge/freezer under the LED TV can be closed with the door. This door also hides a place to store Riva-designed glasses and crockery. Aft of the galley is a day bathroom, which also serves as a head for the double guest cabin on the port side. On the starboard side, a place with a toilet can act as a crew or additional guest cabin.
The forward master stateroom has an en-suite bathroom with a round walk-in shower and the highest-quality fittings, such as a stainless steel sink and glass edging. The island berth looks very comfortable, and its style is simple - the mirrored headboard and brushed stainless steel contrast nicely with the coarse woven fabrics and joinery.
The cockpit and main deck of Rivale 52 are so refined that it's easy to forget about the engine room. Directly under the garage, this sport yacht has 2 x MAN diesel engines with a capacity of 900 hp each. Everything you need, including a generator, air conditioning, and hydraulics, is there.
With a total length of close to 16 meters and a conventional hull with a deep V-cut, the boat has the propellers in half-tunnels, which helps reduce thrust and provides a more efficient shaft angle. At sea, the Rivale 52 "INFINITY" performance is impeccable! The throttles are quick to respond, and the acceleration is spectacular. The steering is light and responsive, with the boat quickly reaching a top speed of 40 knots!
