DESCRIPTION

The Mainship 430 Trawler embodies a timeless design that has been enhanced through innovative engineering and modern manufacturing techniques. Over the past two decades, Mainship has established itself as a prominent builder of boats, predominantly in the trawler category. Their focus remains on crafting high-quality, low-maintenance diesel cruisers that offer both comfort and affordability.

Equipped with a fully instrumented lower helm, the 430 Trawler allows for operation even in inclement weather conditions, boasting full washers and wipers for added convenience. The pilot seat is not only comfortable but also adjustable, ensuring a pleasant journey for captains. On the expansive flybridge, captains enjoy an unobstructed view from all angles, with dedicated space for electronic equipment both overhead and on the console.

Moving aft from the standard radar mast, molded steps with diamond non-skid lead to the aft deck, featuring a convenient door to the swim platform where the tender is stored. Sturdy stainless-steel rails provide excellent handholds, while the lowered cockpit enhances safety and ease of entry to the full-size hydraulic swim platform, complete with a swim ladder and freshwater shower. Additionally, the integrated pulpit offers safe access with wide decks and high bulwarks.

The galley of the 430 Trawler is a chef's paradise, boasting ample Corian-covered counters, an oversized sink, a three-burner range, microwave oven, refrigerator, and plenty of storage space. The adjustable mast adds versatility, making it an ideal choice for loop cruising.

Maintenance of the vessel has been diligently carried out, with recent upgrades including PSS shaft seals and new mixing elbows in 2022. The Yanmar 16k kilowatt generator, with approximately 3000 hours, is accessed through a rear panel for convenience. Other notable features include a Vetus bow thruster, new canvas, polycarbonate panels on the flybridge windshield, a hydraulic swim platform, and a 10.5-foot Walker Bay dinghy with a 20hp Honda engine.

The Mainship 430 Trawler has taken a classic design and improved it through innovative engineering and modern manufacturing methods. Since its inception 20 years ago, Mainship has produced thousands of boats - mostly in the trawler family. The focus has been, and continues to be, in building high-quality, low maintenance diesel cruisers that are comfortable and affordable. The 430 Trawler has a fully instrumented lower helm that allows operation during inclement weather, and is equipped with full washers and wipers. The comfortable and adjustable pilot seat doubles as a great place to store the large standard freezer. From the expansive flybridge, captains have a full unobstructed view to all points. Both overhead and console space have been dedicated to electronic needs. Aft of the standard radar mast, are molded steps with diamond non-skid leading to the aft deck which is large enough to store a tender. Sturdy aluminum rails offer excellent handholds, and the cockpit is lowered for safer and easier entry to the full-size swim platform that includes a convenient swim ladder, and freshwater shower. Heading to the integrated pulpit is safe for all with the wide decks and high bulwarks of the 430. The split anchor well will handle plenty of rode and an extra Danforth, and includes a washdown. Fore and aft shorepower outlets allow for choice of docking. The port and starboard cabin doors make shorthanding a snap as well. Counter space is usually at a premium on a boat of this size, but the galley on the 430 Trawler is a chef's paradise with plenty of Corian-covered counters, an oversize sink, a three-burner range, a microwave - convection oven, a refrigerator, and loads of storage. All this is on the same level as the salon and has its own deck access door.
