Nomad 2 is a spotless Hardy Mariner 25, built late 1999 for the Millennium Boat Show in January 2000 and heavily upgraded by Hardy for the show.
Nomad II is a very lovely example of the Hardy Mariner 25. These are great little sea boats, with a surprising turn of speed. They have very comfortable accommodation with a double berth, a single berth, galley and decent heads compartment. She has a single Yanmar 240hp diesel engine on shaft (replaced in 2017). New Hardy rope fender ( May 2024 ). Bow thruster, hot and cold water, Raymarine chartplotter, trim tabs, etc. In excellent shape, and ready for the season ahead.
The Hardy Mariner 25 epitomises British maritime tradition with its robust build and timeless design. Crafted for seasoned sailors and anglers, its solid construction and deep-V hull ensure stability and comfort while onboard. The spacious cockpit provides ample room for fishing trips or leisurely cruises along the coast. Powered by an inboard Yanmar diesel engine, it delivers a reliable and efficient performance, perfect for exploring coastal waters.
Re-engined in 2017 and upgraded to 240 hp new Yanmar 4LHA STP with a new Yanmar gearbox, she has now completed 380 hours. New Raymarine navionics throughout and engine gauges also replaced.

I bought her in 2003 and have owned her ever since. She has been meticulously looked after and improved over the last 20 years and she is believed to be the best example of her marque.
